Common usage methods for steroids are cycling, stacking and pyramiding. Depending on your goals, you should select the method to achieve maximum effect.
Cycling
Cycling is a method with on-off strategy and useful when you know when you want to be steroid-free for being tested or to avoid diminishing effects of usage after approximately two months.
Stacking
Stacking comes with greater results for experienced steroid users but also brings more risks. It’s basically combining two or more steroids for different purposes like bulking and cutting.
Pyramiding
Pyramiding is the pattern where user slowly increases the frequency or dose until they reach the peak amount and then descreasing it gradually.
Unlike cycling, you don’t stop using steroids completely at the end of a cycle and pyramiding allows you to taper off slowly.
Cycle Lengths
While cycle length depends on different factors, compounds are the main criteria.
2-4 Weeks of Short Cycles
2-4 weeks can be considered as short cycle and short cycles are useful for getting rapid gains with high dosages or slower steady gains without overloading.
6-8 Weeks of Medium Cycles
Useful for gaining lean muscle mass or cutting with serious diet.
10-12 Weeks of Standard Cycles
10-12 weeks cycles are usually good choices for new steroid users as well as experienced ones.
10-12 weeks is usually optimal time to make gains before you reach the plateau and diminish gaining muscle.
